friggin blizzard.

Originally uploaded by kittenlogicso uh, i'm honestly pretty excited about the "blizzard" that's coming in an hour or so. according to the news and the weather channel, we're looking at a solid 24 hours of heavy snow, and probably about 1.5-2 feet once everything's said and done.
my personal to do list for this snowed-in weekend includes: seasons 4-5 of lost. continuing to knit donald's scarf. baking cookies or a cherry cobbler (undecided as to which). sleeping in. doing laundry. hot tea.
i am very pumped about this agenda. i keep looking out the window, hoping it'll get started. someone at work today was saying how much they hate being snowed in because they feel like they have no control. and i said, but isn't it nice to have no responsibilities? you don't feel obligated to go out and do this or that because you can't. it's an excuse to just hang out and be a homebody. on the weekends, i always feel guilty when i'm just sitting around, like i'm supposed to be getting shit done. but this weekend, i CAN'T get shit done. and that's awesome.
also, i thought it was hilarious that i was talking to jessica last night and she's like, wow, are you making that knotted looking scarf for donald? and i said yeah, and she says, he does not deserve that. and i was like he totally does though, because he's incredible in bed. and seriously, i was tossing around making it for him, but after last weekend i was like yessir. you get the nicest scarf i can make. both me and my vagina thank you.
so anyway, enjoy your weekends, because i'll sure as hell be enjoying mine.
