the rolling stones
i have gallstones. like huge, ginormous gallstones. which is okay cuz at least now i know where the pain is coming from. so i have to get surgery to get them taken out since i've had attacks and all that good stuff. they weren't stuck in the lining of my gallbladder, so that's good news i hear. they were rolling around. kinda creepy. anyway.
the bad news is, my appointment isn't until august 4th. so that's a whole month away. i was hoping to get the surgery before i go to washington, because i'll already be taking time off from work. then i wouldn't be missing almost a whole month of work (6 days in washington plus ten days or more for recovery from surgery). according to the websites i read about the surgery on, i'd be taking at least 10 days off work. i'd prefer it if i could be with my mommy when i am done with the surgery:(. sheesh. also, i am overweight so that could also be a potential complication which might mean i would have to get open surgery instead of laproscopic surgery. whatever. we'll see. i refuse to let myself dwell on this repeatedly for an entire month. i'm going to call back on friday and see if i can get an appointment for monday. maybe then i can get the surgery before i leave for Washington. boooooooooooooo!
