It's exactly those politics and the passion for social reform that drew me to them. I'm unfortunately not too well versed in their history--for example, I didn't know they were once considered a Christian denomination.
I'm familiar with most of what's available locally, unfortunately I don't have time to devote to my personal spiritual practices, let alone on a social level, lol.

I find it to be much to my advatnge that at this time, when it seems I am in the process of another philosophical metamorphis, you happen to be hear to stoke the flames of change. As I've mentioned before, the idea of Anarchy, since I began looking at it as an ideology rather than a chaotic-destructive force (thank you ignorant gutterpunks of my youths), is really starting grow on me . . . actually, it's more like I'm realizing that there is a name for what I've already begun to formulate in my mind.
In all sincerity though, since my time is limited, it's difficult for me do heavy reading on the net--plus (hey, I'm a writer) I'm still a sucker for the scent of paper pages . . . Therefore, do you have a reading list on Anarchism you recommend I begin with? I do plan on paying off my library fine soon . . .
The term "Reclaiming" sounds very familiar . . . ah . . . just clicked the link. Yes, that's pretty much what I believe, although my opinions on social responsibility differ somewhat.
Starhawk was one of the first authors I became familiar with when I began studying the Craft. She's an valuable source of information for pagans, although she's a little too feminist for my personal liking. I am for gender equality, and while in her work she claims this too, I tend to get a sense that she believes the feminine gender to be superior, and that irks me a little.
