[DW] Earthshock - Parts 3 and 4
First off, I know I shouldn't be watching these out of order but I am only because I wanted to see how Five was and it was the only DVD I could get my hands on.
It's so weird to see the Doctor so carefree. Since I started watching during Nine's incarnation, I never saw the before until now.
Tegan is awesome. UNIT soldiers fire weapons at Cybermen. Cybermen fall. Tegan runs out and grabs one of their weapons and shoots one dead. <3
And Cybermen bleed oil.
"According to the Earthling there were only ten crew members." WTF. TEN? They need more than that to do anything properly. <.<
Also, Classic Who has some of the most annoying sound effects ever, particularly in Earthshock and Genesis of the Daleks. x.X The "Intruder Alert" alarm sounded like an alarm clock (which was in Genesis of the Daleks).
And Five? Total slut face. Door blows, Five goes slutty. Hands and knees and everything.
Take cover, Scott says, and while everyone else runs AWAY from the hoards of Cybermen, Tegan runs STRAIGHT FOR THEM. And Tegan's the only one with a gun (again, a companion with a gun, how awesome is that?) that can actually do damage.
Tegan also seems to have the regular companion ability of getting seperated and managing to get into life-threatening situations. The Doctor accepts the fact that the Cybermen turned the ship into a bomb very, very calmly. <3
Wtf are you, stupid? Yeah, the Cybermen are right behind us so let's just leave the DOOR OPEN.
"It's no use, she's dead." /everyone simply accepts it
Fifth/Tegan = obviously canon. <.< It's kind of cute, actually. And when Tegan is threatened, the Doctor goes all rawr. :D
I <3 Nyssa. She's quite pouty, sometimes, but just so, so awesome.
*wibbles* Adric. "Just leave!" And he knows he's going to die.
Well, there goes Scott and the rest of UNIT. Cybermen started to come out in masses.
Tegan: badass enough that she made the T.A.R.D.I.S. swerve. :D Nyssa, however, seems to be able to use the TARDIS.
B-but, aw, Five. :D

NO ADRIC. Don't climb back OUT of the safe pod!
And the DOCTOR USES A GUN. Haha! Actually, save Adric, all of his companions use a gun against a Cyberman this serial.
