Today I did not get a parking ticket. Some lovely friends were wonderful and supportive and even braved inclement weather to help me out. One of my classes went really well. I got to the coffee maker at work before the misguided soul who's been making flavored coffee. I didn't cry in front of my bosses. I actually had a student say: "Can I explain it to her since you explained it to me?". *swoons* I'm also pretty sure my fly wasn't undone.
It's too late tonight to talk about the other three quarters. But it wouldn't be reckless exaggeration to misquote Douglas Adams and say I had the sort of day that would make Francis of Assisi kick babies.
