(Fanfic- one shot) Winter Carnival

Maru blinked and stared at Koki to see what he was holding in his hands.
“Koki…”
“Yes, Yuichi?”
“What exactly are you planning on doing with that?” Maru asked backing away discreetly as he could from his boyfriend.
“Put it on you, of course.” Koki said with a smirk on his face. Maru blinked before backing away even further.
“Koki, there is no way I’m going to wear it. Why don’t YOU wear it instead?”
“Awww… Come on, Yuichi! It’d look much better on you! I already have one on.”
“I can see that! I’m not blind.” Maru said inching even closer towards the door to the resting room, ready to bolt at any second.
Koki gave Maru a slight glare before advancing towards the other. This caused Maru to quickly turn and go running from the room, Koki giving chase shortly after. Kame blinked as he watched the figures of his two friends and bandmates go running from the room before he turned his gaze to the person sitting next to him.
“Jin. I am not wearing a really girly kimono like that to the Winter Carnival so don’t even try.” Jin pouted at that.
“Hey, how did you know I got you a kimono like the one Koki got for Maru?”
“It’s you. I wouldn’t have even put it pass you to get a dress instead of a kimono. Oh, and by the way, don’t even try to tell me that I won’t be able to find a kimono to wear because Tackey let me hide one in his and Tsubasa’s resting room.”
Meanwhile with the TaNaka pair…
“Oh come on, Yuichi…! It’s not THAT girly really. I heard that Koyama from NEWS is wearing one just like it!” Koki shouted as he chased after his boyfriend who was still refusing to wear the kimono.
“Well then, why don’t you give it to Kato so they can match?!” Maru shouted back as he kept running. Koki just glared and ran faster in an attempt to catch the other. Koki managed to do so after cornering him in NEWS’s resting room (which was currently occupied by all of NEWS, all of whom by the way, were already dressed and ready to go to the Winter Carnival).
“Hey! What are you two doing in our dressing room? Shouldn’t you go back to your own band of idiots? Jin has already infected Yamapi enough. I don’t need you infecting the rest of NEWS as well.” Ryo said as he glared at the two.
Completely ignoring the fact that Ryo was insulting them, and that there were even other people in the room, Koki advanced on Maru and proceeded to force the other into the kimono. In the process, he removed the other’s pants so he’d have no choice but to keep it on.
When he turned around, Maru’s jeans in one hand, he finally realized that NEWS was actually in the room and that eight people were staring at them with either opened mouths, or in Ryo’s case, a look of utter disgust.
Maru just glared at Koki’s back before pushing past him and nodding politely in the direction of the NEWS members before leaving the room.
“Umm… Sorry about that.” Koki said as he bowed towards the NEWS members and quickly left the room calling out to Maru. Ryo just rolled his eyes and said,
“I’ve seen worse than that from Kame and Jin.” He glanced to his right where Yamapi was. Yamapi looked like he was about to say something but promptly shut his mouth.
“Let’s go then.” Yamapi said putting on an authoritative face which earned him laughs from everyone but Ryo (who just smacked him in the head before dragging him out the room).
Meanwhile Koki had caught up to Maru, his pants mysteriously stowed away somewhere beneath the outfit Koki was wearing.
“You aren’t that mad are you? It’s not that girly I swear, and besides… You look really hot in it.” Koki said smirking and raising his eye brows suggestively at the other. Maru responded by smacking Koki on his blonde head before saying with a slight flush to his cheeks,
“Thanks. But that still doesn’t mean I’ll forgive you for forcing me into this thing.”
“I know, but you might after you see what’s attached to the inside of your left sleeve.” Koki said, a hint of what sounded like nervousness in his voice, but Maru just brushed it off.
He stopped in the middle of the hallway and lifted the left sleeve up so it was closer to his face and then he carefully reached into it with his right hand and felt for something. He wasn’t sure what could be supposedly inside the sleeve.
He finally found something, a small piece of cloth that had something wrapped in it, and he pulled it out gently before turning it in his hand and glancing over at Koki.
“Is this it?” He said with a questioning gaze. Koki just nodded in reply and made a gesture indicating for him to open it.
He returned his gaze to the cloth and turned it over and began to carefully open it. What he saw when he had it fully opened it surprised him greatly. It surprised him so much that he let out a soft gasp indicating his surprise.
Maru looked up at Koki immediately, who had been looking at him, apparently watching for his reaction. “Koki…”
“Yuichi, you know… I love you more than anything so… I want to make it feel more official, you know?” Koki said, cutting the other off. A smile spread across Maru’s face as he shifted his gaze from the ring resting gently in the cloth to Koki.
“Yes. But you had better put it on me because otherwise it’s not official at all.”
Koki happily came towards his boyfriend and plucked the ring off of the cloth and pulled Maru’s left hand towards him. Shortly after that he slipped the gold and silver band onto Maru’s ring finger.
“I know you won’t be able to wear it all the time since the fans will probably get suspicious, so you can wear it on your other hand. Or maybe on a chain around your neck when we’re out in public. Oh, and Merry Christmas, Yuichi.” Koki said smiling as he wrapped one arm around his boyfriend’s waist.
“Thank you, Koki. I love it and… I love you. Merry Christmas.” Maru said as he turned and wrapped both of his hands behind the other’s neck. Koki smiled and leaned down to place a kiss on the other’s lips.
When they pulled apart after a minute, Koki spoke again, “Now, let’s get going. If we don’t get down there early enough, Jin, Yamapi and Massu are going to eat everything again like last year.” Koki took one of Maru’s hands in his and dragged him off towards the elevator.
OWARI~! ((FINALLY! I’m finally done with all of my christmas fics! This one turned out pretty cracky in my opinion..and I LOVE it. xDD I originally didn’t intend to have other people appear so much, but its alright, as I made sure it centered on TaNaka. xD))
