Osaka Day 1

Oct 05, 2009 00:58

Arrghhh so tired from walking around today....and I still didn't get to go to Banpaku-kinen Kouen ;^;

Anyway sorry for not telling anyone but yessssssssss I'm in Osaka! Mainly to accompany my sister since she will be studying there. I've yet to go anywhere special though... spent 3 days understanding how the railways/bus tracks works. Osaka alone has around 35 different railway companies it's such a bitch planning which route to take to a certain place. I can't even ask the Japanese around there cuz of my poor Japenis.....;_;. Even if they're nice enough to help, can't understand jack about the directions they give....

Anyway I came to Osaka last Thursday night, boarded Malaysia Airlines ( I recommend going with JAL though since it's only RM1350 back and forth. Had to take MA since her scholarship included plane tickets with MA), at 11pm, couldn't get any sleep in the plane thanks to the extreeemely uncomfortable seats, the sucky food and the old Parkinson-affected japanese man who keeps on knocking on my seats every second ;_;. It was all worth it though when I saw the first sunrise of October 2nd... it was soooo beautiful.

Camwhoring in the toilet is a must for every travellers :P

It's small things like this that makes me believe that God does, exist. And look at those flat, supple clouds! It's liek you can jump out of the plane face first and those massive bed will cushion your body NO PROBLEM.

I will be staying with my kakak angkat(god-sister in English I guess..?) During my stay in Osaka. On the way to her place, there was some old Japanese women who greeted me while waiting for our bus. I was awed by their politeness @_@.

This was the first thing I spot that feels very japenis since I reached Osaka 8D

My senior lives in a wealthy, higher middle class area. There was alot of luxury bungalows, albeit small, but looks expensive. My senior herself lives in a small,cheap apartment room but daaaamn was the room nice or what. It looked so much like Fatal Frame!

I fricking love the tatami mats and sliding doors! Except at night when my senior isn't back from work yet... :X

Typical rich ppl house. It's small, but looks very space-efficient @_@ Prolly costs more than my life D:

If I'm not wrong these trees only grows in Japan, and the fruit tastes nice too. No, I didn't steal the fruits :X

That's all for day 1. Although it's now already day 3 I'm just too tired to write about it yet T_T
