Quilting Trouble

Aug 30, 2009 17:02

Don't you just hate it when you figure out how to do something and then when you go back, you can't do it again? I finally figured out how to get my arkansas snowflake block templates to make an actual block and not a wonky mess. There weren't any instuctions, just a diagram with NO FREAKING LETTERS. I, like a dope, didn't write down how I did it the right time. I've tried three times today, ruined three blocks, picked them apart and tried to redo them over and over. and will have to go get more fabric as it is stretched out of shape from being picked apart just enough that it doesn't match the template anymore! I'm taking a break, but if I can't figure it out tomorrow I'm calling the company and seeing if I can get a)decent instructions b) a refund.

I got them from Baycreek quilting templates, never had a problem with them before! But this is the first one that had the same template that had to be flipped over and cut the opposite way. I think I'll stick to the other kind from now on.

quilt block, frustration, quilting
