For Belle [TR; Hurricane]
The weather had gotten rough as the day went on and Jacob had tried to stick close to the Homestead, not wanting Shari or Morgan to go out looking for him if they didn't have to. He was capable of taking care of himself, more than capable if his trek through dino country said anything about that, but it was more out of wanting to be around for Belle. He didn't think France got the kind of storm that was currently brewing out in the water and while La Push never did, Jacob wasn't scared of a storm.
He was scared of other things, sure. Vampires invading when he didn't have his powers, people he loved disappearing...but he could handle any physical dangers the island wanted to throw at him. He touched Belle lightly on the shoulder when the wind gusted particularly badly, rattling the shingles and windows.
"Are you okay? Need anything?"
