When the boss is away...

I've been playing boss for most of this week and I hate it. I've been a total stress bunny over nothings and everything has been working out okay, but I still hate it. Today wasn't that bad - I actually got to go out in the field and do some trouble shooting, but I still didn't get to my lunch until 4pm. Tomorrow is going to be a hectic day and now John wants me to start scheduling for next week? I don't think I can do it and I'm not going to worry about it. I can only do so much. He'll be back Monday. I'm driving up to Boston next weekend for the CSJO executive retreat and taking Monday off for the hell of it. I'll probably survive.

(Ross thinks I'm silly for wanting to drive to Boston instead of flying. But I like driving - nice introverted, introspective time - and I'll save money and get to follow my own schedule.)
