Books are my main addiction. Well, specifically literature and SF. I'm in the middle of five books right now:
"The Return of the King" by Tolkien
"Anna Karenina" by Tolstoy
"The Big Six" by Ransome (I'm reading the entire Swallows and Amazons series. "The Big Six" is number 9 of 12, and then there's the Ransome biography).
"Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) getting By in America" by Ehrenreich (non-fiction! although, it's not very serious non-fiction, my school book)
"Persuasion" by Austen (actually, I haven't started this one yet. It's my purse book, and it has just replaced "I, Robot" which I finished on Sunday).
I've been sitting in my study-type room watching netflix movies ("The Price of Milk" has nothing going for it, not even the Kiwis), reading my home books, and catching up on my New York Times Sunday Magazines (I'm on Oct. 31) and Games Magazines (I'm on August, 2003). All at the same time. Since I got home from Danielle's yesterday (3pm-ish?). I've been up for 21 hours now after a not-very-good night's sleep for no good reason whatsoever. This is bordering on destructive behavior. I have to fix this.
But for now, I'm going to go get the tires changed on my car, head to school and get some real food, some caffeine, and start my math homework. Yeah. Shit.
