Trinty Lynn

A couple weeks ago, November 19th actually, I got to be apart of Raven's delivery of Trinity Lynn. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Completely different than when I had Angelus c-section and never even felt a labor contraction. Raven had Trinity Lynn al natural and being there was, wow. There are just no words for how precious it was! Robert was on one side of Raven and I was on the other and we held Raven’s legs and helped her push. It was surreal to look down to see "how things we going" and find Trinity Lynn's head was suddenly was there, sticking out. haha It was funny, I couldn't help but say "Oh my gods, it's her head!" .

Well to be honest, Raven didn't need much help; she pushed Trinity out in just over 20 minutes like it was nothing. She’s the strong, silent type. Raven probably could have done it all by herself but she was just being nice to let people help. I think Raven was worried that it was gross to watch, but it wasn’t at all. I even got to check out the placenta. Robert and I almost had the nurse convinced to let them take it home! I always wanted to have my placenta to use in a tree ritual for Angelus, marking the tree as his magical tree. Or the ya-ya's could use them to open a placenta bar and never age like the Aunts. hee hee

The photo of me holding Trinity is sweet because I can see the cord from the Binding of the Wrists ritual from Raven Blessing Way for Trinity Lynn and my "Mother's Ring" from Angelus.

From women we were born into this circle,
from women we were born unto this earth

Oh and to top it all off, I was the top of the phone tree! hahaha! I got to be the one to activate the phone tree when Raven gave birth. I felt so special.

Trinity Lynn was the sweetest shade of pink, Robert cried nearly the whole time and Raven just sat back like the beautiful Dark Goddess that she is and brought life into the world….
