James Taylor is stuck in my head, and thankfully, this is not litterally, because: "ouch!"

Now the first of December was covered with snow/and so was the turpike from Stockbridge to Boston/Lord the Berkshires looked dream like on account of that frostin'...

This is the "magical" kind of snow going on now. The heavy stuff--but falling silently. The kind you didn't know was happening until you woke up and there was that "feeling". And you peek outside...and the world is silent, blanketed in a beautiful white comforter. This is the romatic snow, softly falling on eyelashes and noses--frosting the hair of those without a hat...This is a good day off.
It's a day for hot chocolate and home-made soup--snowmen and sliding down hills. Rosy cheeks and dry windpipes...It reminds me of the type of snow we had when we were kids...before we had to worry about going to work and making sure there's a full tank of gas and all that other crap. I'm holding on to that nostalgia today. Perhaps I'll even make hot chocolate.

(BTW, we're getting more snow now --only forecasted 1-4 inches--probably up to 6" now and it's still coming down than when they said "OMG!!! BLIZZARD!! RUNFORYOURLIVESBUYALLTHEBREADATTHEGROCERYSTORE'CAUSEYOU'RENEVERLEAVINGYOURHOUSEAGAIN!!! last week)

The hedgehog community highlighted in Livejournal makes me think of lawgeekgurl

I'm debating whether I should join my highschool 13th year (don't ask) reunion facebook page and accept all these requests from people I went to highschool with. They didn't talk to me then, why should I talk to them now, kind of thing...But I have this curiosity that's kind of bugging me. I know, I know, it killed the cat. And honestly, I haven't accomplished anything since graduating. Aren't there 2 reasons for going to a reunion like that? 1. Catch up with old friends (not anything I have to worry about) and 2. show off some? Yeah. I think I just talked my decision out.

I've been dreaming about going to Greece. A lot.
Maybe next year will be my year for travel abroad. I really need a change of scenery right now. (Although the picture outside my window is quite pretty. :o)
