new company hierarchy = weird

job suuuuuuuuuuks, but I'm going for a management position anyway. Brian's applied as well, and if he gets it, I really do mean "good for him" because he's one of the few people I'd feel has "earned" it. And? if he gets it, that means I can take his old spot which means either way, I'm upstairs!! (well, in theory ;o) )I just *really* need a change of pace, more money, and want to prove myself.

I really don't care who knows, 'cause I'm pissed, but, I made $20,000 for 2007 according to my W-2...and I owe the government $22 this year. I know that's not a lot, but, dude!! seriously?!?! I can't live on what I'm making as it is. I have student loans and car loans and everything costs money! That's fucked up, yo...I'm just sayin. *sigh*

I've been pre-approved, and have a realtor. I'm looking at a few condos in the New Haven area. I really want this one place. It's not the *best* area (I'm not talkin' Orchard Street, people, I *am* sane), but it's right next to a church and has a natural food store right up the block and it's 7 minutes from work. It's also dropped $4,000 since it was last listed. I hope I can get it for another $8,000 cheaper, but I'm really not holding my breath. It would be nice to get for that price because I know I could totally make that back on re-sale value when I decide it's time to move again.

Shelly from work and I are going to see Rent on Broadway in April. It'll be my first time seeing it. I have always wanted to. Other than that, I'm just looking foward to not being at work.

(((HUGS))) to everyone
