Rowan in the news again, kind of

Apparently, Rowan University is the 6th ugliest college in the USA, according to the Campus Squeeze blog. To that I say BULLSHIT. First of all, the images used as support of their ranking are two of of the dorms, not the actual education buildings. Both of the images are pulled from the school's website, meaning that there's a good chance the author has never set foot on our campus. While surfing the website, the author could have looked at some of our other buildings, including Chestnut and Magnolia halls, two of the dormitories on campus, Bunce Hall, one of the original buildings on campus, or the Science Building, Rowan Hall, the townhouses and the Education building, the three newest buildings on campus. Instead, to justify his (or her) ranking, the author attempted to use our school colors! Seriously?!? When you need to bring in a school's colors as a reason for their campus being ugly, that means that maybe your argument wasn't as strong as you thought it was. Whatever. I'm proud to be a student at Rowan, and I hope that the students at the other schools on this BULLSHIT list are proud of their schools as well.
