I had lunch with my long-lost bestie Nick this afternoon. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Mike and Rosy's deli and talked a lot of shit despite the fact that we hadn't seen each other in more than two years (thanks, college). He forgot how quickly I speak (evenwhenI'mnotexcited,ItalklikeSixfromBlossom,y'all!) and he had to interrupt me with, "STOP. WHAT?" at least four times. It was good seeing him, though. I forgot how much we clicked. And how much I needwant more people in my life.
I'm still working on my YAY '08 list. I was a lot more motivated to do it when it was 2008, but then Christmas rolled around, bringing with it all sorts of insanity, so I sort of let it sit in my computer without looking at it. Whoops.
I am now in season four of the Office. I hate to say it, but now that Jim and Pam are finally together, I feel like a lot of tension in the show is gone and I don't have such an intense need to watch it. It's still good, it's just not as captivating.
I was thinking today about how I was going to update this and I thought about the kinds of things I could say, when it hit me that I really shouldn't update with why I never update. That seems very counterproductive, wouldn't you say?
I am going to go work on my ridiculously long list entry and make all of the other points I intend on making there.
