Theatre 4 Theatre is performing Tick..Tick..BOOM!! a musical by Jonathan Larson, this Thursday through Sunday at the U of M Theatre and Communication building ( the studio theatre)
Admission is free, although they will be accepting donations for the National Marfan Foundation.
Jonathan Larson, who also wrote RENT, died of an aneurysm from Marfan's syndrome in 1996.
The show is about Jonathan, our hero, an unsuccessful writer/composer of musicals. He is approaching 30; he is still working as a waiter; his best friend has gone into market research and has just bought a BMW; and his girlfriend wants to move to Cape Cod and start a family. Jonathan feels that time is running out: "tick, tick... BOOM!"
Slade is in the show playing Jonathans best friend Michael..
The show is amazing.. I am helping with the band so I will be there every night!!!
