[The scene opens on a small blue monkey-creature eating a cookie on a desk. Utena's school jacket is hanging on the chair behind it. Utena isn't on screen but she's clearly watching because as soon as the monkey is finished eating, she talks off-screen.]
Oi, Chu Chu, what do you think you're doing? [She leans into view, picking up the creature by the tail.] I leave the camera on for just a moment... What would your mistress think?
[She pulls out the chair with her other hand and sits. Chu Chu manages to escape her grip. He scrambles to Utena's shoulder, chattering angrily. Utena doesn't seem to notice. She's wearing a lumpy sweater and scarf in the shade of pink her hair is.]
Himemiya made these for me. Snazzy, right? [She laughs before sighing.] I like them but I was wondering. I can't really remember if it ever snows here... I know it snows, I've seen it. At the party the snow seemed colder. I don't get it.
