x-men 3 spoilers
Having just finished reading the x-men book, I would like to say...THIS SUCKS! The book sets up a movie that isn't really a movie so much as a prequel to three new character-based movies. As such, the deaths of certain characters seem meaningless, trivial, and seriously out of character. And the whole Jean and Logan thing, grr, don't get me started. I think the writers slept through the last movie, because everything that was resolved in that movie (Jean choosing Scott, Scott ignoring Logan's attempt to apologize at the end because he realizes Logan was never really a threat) is treated like it never happened. The whole movie, if it follows the book, feels very cheap. The writers aren't doing right by the characters, simply what is easiest and what strokes certain actor(s)'s egos most. The only good thing I can say about the movie is that at least Bobby comes into his own as Iceman. At least one character should come out of this trilogy with a complete character arc.
