Aw...
There's a stray cat in my neighborhood now that has befriended me. Actually, I've emotionally adopted her. The irony? It's a black cat. She came up to the front door yesterday and was all ready to follow me into the house until my dogs started barking. I felt bad for her and sat outside for a while with her in my lap, just petting her.
I fed her a can of tuna. She ate the entire thing. She was so skinny... Her shoulderblades were poking out of her back, I could feel all her vertebre... My mom and I would have taken her to the animal shelter, but we weren't sure how she'd react to being in a car. So maybe we can gain her trust with the tuna and save her.
If my dogs hadn't freaked out (I know for a fact that Jester could care less about cats, but Zany...) this cat would have followed us inside the house and just stayed there.
