I got one needle for behind my kneecap (holy shitballs that was awful) and about seven or eight injections around my knee. Do you know what happens when there's a huge needle in your leg like that? My leg kept jerking like it was trying to start running and I could actually feel the metal on the syringe as it scraped my bone.
Here's where I'd normally say: "I never want to go through that again." But I might have to do this again in a month.
The anesthetic started kicking in about an hour ago. I feel really weird right now and the stinging sensation in my leg is going down some, but the doctor gave me some Tylenol 3 since I'm not allowed to take any anti-inflammatory medication and that stuff is just codeine.
I had no idea that a local anesthetic could mess me up like this.
Man, I really hope this works.
