[jongkey; ontae] nose kisses are cute (drabbles)

Apr 16, 2011 16:29

So basically I wanted to take a break from writing the jongkey fic I'm working on, which is turning out to be...quite long, so I asked my sister for requests or prompts. But because she is possibly the most useless creature ever, she didn't give me anything. After asking her for prompts for half an hour, and her repeating, "I don't know, I don't know," over and over, she finally gave me this: "Nose kisses are cute."

So here are some SHINee nose kisses. I may do some more later-I don't know yet. For now...enjoy these. :)

Jonghyun kisses Key on the nose.

He was thinking about it, but only vaguely, in the absent-minded way he thought about most things, and then he just leaned forward and did it.

Key looks away from the television and crinkles his nose. “What was that?” he says. He gives Jonghyun a look-the kind that says are you a complete sap? and I can't believe I put up with you.

Jonghyun hesitates, eyes open wide. The word caught flashes through his mind. “...Accident?” he says, voice lilting upward. He smiles, as innocently as he can.

Key rolls his eyes. “Idiot,” he says, but his tone is fond, instead of snappish or irritated, as it can be. “Do it right next time,” he says.

Jonghyun scrunches up his nose. And how's that, he's about to ask, but then Key is leaning forward, and then Key's lips are pressed against Jonghyun's own. They linger for a moment, warm and soft, and then Key pulls back again.

“Like that,” he says. He turns back to face the TV again, but glances out of the corner of his eye to see Jonghyun beaming at him. He smiles too, then, and reaches over to thread his arm through Jonghyun's.

“Accident,” he scoffs. “Yeah, right.” Jonghyun whips his head around to look at Key, chagrined. Key pretends to look disdainful, but only for a moment; he can't help the smile that leaks out around the corners of his mouth. Jonghyun turns back, relieved.

“You know you like it,” he says, singsong. Key scoffs again but doesn't say anything, and Jonghyun knows he's right. Satisfied, he bumps his shoulder lightly with Key's and turns his attention back to the show, humming quietly under his breath.

“Look Taemin,” Onew says. “Fireflies.” He points up at the bright spots of light floating aimlessly in the cool evening air. He snatches at one that hovers particularly low, but misses.

Beside him, Taemin makes a soft, amused sound. Onew glances over at him; he's lying back comfortably in the grass, head pillowed on his hands. There's a vague smile playing around the corners of his mouth, and Onew thinks he looks happy and calm and utterly relaxed.

“Taemin,” he says. He props himself up on one elbow so he can face Taemin more easily. “Try to catch one.”

“No thanks, hyung,” says Taemin, not moving or even looking up. “I'm good,” he says. Onew scoffs at his indifference and makes a couple more exaggerated attempts at grabbing the fireflies above them. Then he glances at Taemin to see if he's watching; he is, but only barely, his eyes half-lidded and his expression vacant.

“Hey, be more of a kid, Taeminnie,” says Onew, and Taemin looks up, finally, at the change in his tone.

“Hyung?” he says, questioningly. “What do you mean?”

Onew ponders this for a moment. Then a sly grin sneaks onto his face, a slow upwards curl to his lips. Taemin's eyes are wide open now; he looks half curious, half wary.

Onew pounces. He doesn't seem it sometimes, but he's spry, and Taemin barely has a moment before Onew is on him, ferociously tickling. Taemin gives a surprised shout before dissolving into breathless giggles and pleas. He tries to twist away, but Onew is unrelenting, swinging a leg over Taemin to keep him trapped in place while his hands feathering up and down Taem's sides, fingers wiggling mercilessly.

When the attack finally stops, Onew is straddling Taemin, who, free at last, lets his head fall to the grass as he catches his breath. Onew's hands still, coming to rest gently on Taemin's hips. Their faces are mere inches apart, and Onew closes the gap, letting his forehead rest against Taemin's.

“Hyung,” Taemin starts to complain, wriggling and pushing at Onew, but he subsides when Onew's fingers twitch threateningly. They stay there like that for a minute.

“Taeminnie,” says Onew. He's smiling, playful.

“What?” says Taemin, and Onew laughs at the exasperation in his voice. He raises himself up, just slightly, and kisses the tip of Taemin's nose, quick, before pushing himself the rest of the way into a sitting position.

Taemin smiles and shakes his head. “You're so silly, hyung,” he says. Onew wiggles his head from side to side, grinning, and Taemin laughs.

“You wouldn't like me half as much if I weren't,” Onew says. Taemin looks at him, expression bright, for a moment. Then he reaches up and cups a hand around the back of Onew's neck, pulls him down to kiss him on the lips.

“No,” he says. He keeps his hand on Onew's neck, trapping him there. “I'm pretty sure I'd like you no matter what, hyung.”

Onew grins, guileless and pleased, and the warm glow of it shines brighter than the fireflies, drifting forgotten against the darkening midnight blue of the sky above them.
