Entrance to the South Hall and Sanzo
[Written the Day 35, after his discussion with Sanzo]
Today I informed Sanzo about the "keys" we received: there were two artifacts, one in the East Hall, the other given to us by the creature in the West Hall, a sword and a shield. With both in hand, the creature said we would be able to go South. It warned us about a test with sacrifices.
Sanzo suggested the droids I faced earlier were assassins, targeting Jedi. The thought had crossed my mind, but it seems unlikely: if they wanted to kill me, they would have taken me on two versus one, not one at a time. But I do believe that somehow they were expecting Jedi and that in itself is troubling. We already know Jedi - or Sith - have been here before. But we don't know how long ago they were here or what happened yet. There's no telling yet if anyone made it South yet or if we are the first.
I have asked Sanzo to come with us to the basement. He appears to be well-aware of the danger and knows there is a likelihood of it being a trap. He will need to find his ward first.
I don't know if you have felt it, but Sanzo is an Earthian Force-sensitive, belonging to an order of monks. They take students as well, but he turned his down. It is possible his "ward" may or may not be a fellow Force-Sensitive. The Force here, too, manifests early in the young according to him.
