Alright, so the results are in ladies and gentleman! Once he checks out my references I'm officially on board for the summer. In case anyone was unaware...I applied for a bunch of summer camps this summer and the only one that gave me an answer was Kananaskis Tim Hortons Children's ranch. It's a camp in alberta for kids who wouldn't normally be able to afford summer camp. It's a fab idea if you ask me. There are camps like this from Alberta to Kentucky to Nova Scotia! And the cool thing is, the kids from the east coast go to the west coast camps, and the kids from the west coast go to all the eastern camps! The kids get flown in for free and spend ten days at this camp.
I'm going to be leaving on a plane to Calgary just after skeeter. I'm going to be at Camp all the way until August 30th , which if you don't care to count is 14 weeks! Which is a long time to be away from my home! My brother is going to be taking over my room for the time that I'm gone (whihc is going to be nice for my grandma since they are currently sharing a room.) It's 50 dollars for every two weeks I'm there (or 25$ a week) for food and shelter and everything else the camp has to offer. Which is a pretty spiffy deal! The greatest part about it, is that when I'm not in the kitchen (or working elsewhere) I'm allowed to partake in all the camp activities and hang out with the kids, which is everything from campfire to white water riverrafting, and even equestrian (yes I know I'm afraid of horses, but Marc says I have no choice but to learn)
So I figured I'd let all of you know where I'm gonna be this summer!!

Anyways so I'm SO Excited, like jumping up and down excited! Yay!!!! and it's so close I leave in six weeks! That's only 42 days! That's no time at all!!! Just so everyone knows... Kananaskis is about 45 minutes west of Calgary, right on the mountains, super close to Banff. PHWEEEEEEE
