So you think you can love me leave me to die? Whoa, baby. Come and list to me, baby...

Well, an interesting week to say the least. Went to the Madrigal Dinner Friday night with Johnna... the Collegium did great. I got pictures. Her mom took me home. Not a whole lot to say.

Saturday, I ran some errands with my mom over in Teays Valley.
Hey! I got a cell phone with unlimited minutes. IM me if you want my number.

Sunday was church and choir Christmas program practice.

Monday was the band concert... the band did great, better than we've ever played before. It as a good concert. I played well, but only because the beautiful Johnna gave me a good luck kiss beforehand. It worked, it really did. The spiffy girl also took pictures, which I'm putting in here at the end of the post.

Tuesday night was the orchestra concert. It went well, considering I know I sight-read half the music. I stayed up half the night reading Ayn Rand's Anthem. It was a good book and I really enjoyed it. Yes, I finally read something for English. Amazing, huh?

Church was night was fun. Danielle was the only girl in our class, and Pete taught. We were going to have pizza, but the power went out in Milton while our pizzas were in the oven. So we're having a pizza party next week. Woo.

This morning, I went to 1st mod. We had a sub, and we did the worksheets and talked with Derek and Danielle. I wrote a note to Gensler saying I wouldn't be at class because jazz band and show choir was going to Martha Elementary. Then I went to band room to get dressed. Well, leave it to Chance to be the only person to go to class, so he's in my English class and he brings the note back and it says "Guess what - you are excused a 9." So when we come back, Isaac says she's super and and Emily W. told me she was going to get me in a load of trouble... oh, well. Smalley said we didn't have to go to 2nd mod. Anyhow, it was a lot of fun. Freddy, my bus driver, drove the show choir bus. We got Smalley to sit in the back with us going up there. The saxes also had front row seats watching the show choir girls. Matt, Dwayne, Barker, me, and probably even Emily Burgh enjoyed it. Imagine 20 band people singing Bohemian Rhapsody and Desperado on a school bus. We got 45 minutes at the mall, and I bummed $5 off Dylan (which I paid him back when we got to school) and got General Tsao Chicken and fried rice at China Max. I've never had it before. It was soooo good.

We set the band room up for fruit 5th mod and listened to Curtis make porn music. I stayed in gym 6th mod, and I ended up getting kicked in the face. Yes, with a foot. Before 7th mod, Johnna kept rushing off and I got rather frustrated with her because she wanted to go into the auditorium for the violence assembly thing and wouldn't talk to me for two minutes. So then I left and went to the band room, where I told Chance off because I was trying to talk to Rory about Johnna. After school, Johnna wanted to run up the hill even though her mom wasn't there, so I ask her to come and wait for my bus with me. So we're talking to Ashley Clark and Matt Cain, Johnna and I are holding hands, she fumbles out, so I go and wait for my bus. We talked about it some... so, I dunno. I think everything will end up working out... it just needs some time, that's all.

Jazz band plays for a banquet tomorrow night at the MU Student Center and the MU basketball game next Tuesday. Then I deliver band fruit on Saturday. I need to get my application for Governor's School for the Arts done, too. I hope I can get the teacher recommendation letters in on time and make it. It's a three-week program at MU over the summer.

Mom's having surgery on her shunt tomorrow, too. They took her off her blood thinner and it clotted up and it's not working right. So if you pray, please pray for my mom.

Okay, so I'm just another stupid guy. I do stupid stuff sometimes. Well, that's a lie. I do stupid stuff a whole freakin' lot. But everything's okay, and I'm 100% of one thing: I love Johnna Bailey. And there's nothing that'll stop me. Sure, I get frustrated with her. But everybody's different. And yeah, sometimes our relationship feels like putting a square peg into a round hole (no pun or innuendo intended), but she's a great girl and I believe with all my heart she's worth it. She's going to have such a wonderful Christmas...

And for poops and giggles, my living room:

Nice, huh?

Johnna Bailey, is holding your hand too much to ask?
I love you.

Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better. Remeber to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better. Hey Jude, don’t be afraid, you were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under your skin, then you begin to make it better. And anytime you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain, don’t carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that it’s a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder. Hey Jude, don’t let me down. You have found her, now go and get her. Remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better. So let it out and let it in, Hey Jude begin. You’re waiting for someone to perform with. And don’t you know that it’s just you, Hey Jude, you’ll do. The movement you need is on your shoulder. Hey Jude, don’t make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better. Remember to let her under your skin, then you’ll begin to make it better.

Mmm.
