I cant believe November is upon us already! Where has the year gone?
With Summer only weeks away, we are currently under water restrictions due to the lack of rain over the past months.
I will have to get written permission from the authorities to top-up our pool.
Michael moved out ( as most of you already know), almost 3 weeks ago. I haven't seen him since, although he has popped in when Cindy has been home. I kinda miss the guy.
We have almost finished painting the spare room ( Mike's old room ) and the rumpus room. It's looking great.
There is one more wall to paint, which will be done with suede effects to highlight and break the room a little.
The Pool table should be arriving days after the painting has finished, so the timing will be perfect.
I'm losing weight.... not that I have ever been overweight, but I have been carrying this beer-belly around for some time, which is weird seeing as I don't drink much beer at all. Cindy is concerned, but I don't think there is anything wrong apart from a lack of appetite, probably due to smoking. Speaking of which, I am taking Zyban again in an attempt to give up the smokes again. They don't seem to have the same effect on me this time around. Perhaps my body has become more tolerant to the drug??
It is Melbourne Cup Day today. The day our Nation grinds to a halt in the name of a horse race LOL !!!
Oh well, it's a good enough excuse for a BBQ. We are having relatives over today just so we can feed their faces and shoot the breeze. Hope the sun emerges from behind those clouds.
On a less brighter note, Aussie Authorities have been regularly raiding the homes of Muslims that are suspected of having ties to, or are in support of terrorist groups. The Islam community is outraged. The majority of people here are in the opinion that if this activity further ensures our safety, then Go for it! I for one, agree.
