June Questions
1. A stranger knocks on your character's door in the middle of the night and asks for help. Does your character open the door and let the stranger in?
No. I don’t even know if he would open the door and if he did it would be gun in hand.
o What if the stranger is a tattooed, wiry man with blood on his face?
No way. Snake would threaten to shoot him.
o What if the stranger is a weary-looking old lady?
He would help her.
o What if the stranger is a twelve-year-old child who keeps looking around as though someone is following him?
The child would suddenly have an armed body guard to take them anywhere… even to the police station if he had to. Snake has a thing for watching out for children
2. Does your character have any allergies or sensitivities? How do they affect his life?
His left eye under the patch is extremely sensitive to light. The iris/muscles have been severely damaged by the gas and so the pupil is as wide as it can be all the time. When the patch is removed in light brighter then dim moon light the pain is so excruciating that Snake often passes out and can’t think.
3. Is your character progressive, using new technologies as they become available? Is he slow to adapt to technological change? Or is he middle-of-the-road, waiting to see if things work but using them as soon as he's satisfied that they do?
Snake loves tech. He used a lot of it in the military and knows the edge he can get from having something as good as or better then his enemy.
4. Your character receives a mysterious package. There's no return address (or not one that he recognizes) and he wasn't expecting anything. What does he do?
Runs from it assuming it is a bomb, trap etc. Watches it from a safe distance and might approach after some time.
o The package is unusually heavy and the label is hand-lettered in a handwriting he doesn't recognize.
Runs faster. Watches it from a safe distance and might approach after some time.
o The package is a thin manila envelope with a printed label.
Tosses it back out in the street. Watches it from a safe distance and might approach after some time.
o There seems to be a faint vibration coming from the package and it was left on his doorstep.
Exits out the back door and watches for awhile.
o The package is large and was delivered through a reputable shipping service.
He knows now it is something from the government because they are the only one’s who use delivery services. Disappears into hiding for at least a week.
5. Does your character enjoy camping outdoors?
Snake loves the outdoors when it is his choice to be there. He hates living in it because he has to.
6. Does your character know how to hunt or fish? Is he good at it? Does he do it for recreation or for food?
Snake doesn’t much like to fish but he doesn’t mind hunting. Being a weapons expert I would assume he is very good at it. Does it for food not really for recreation.
7. What is the one major regret your character has about his life so far? Does he plan to do anything about it, and if so, what?
He has a list ten miles long of conflicting regrets so I will list a few in no particular order.
-Letting Captain Berrigan convince him to lead his squadron in the Leningrad Ruse. (Snake is hunting him and wants to kill him)
-The Death of Sophia in Leningrad. (He can’t do much but he has become that much more protective of women especially those he cares for)
-Taylor’s death in Colorado (Snake deals spades to the government for that and it fuels his hatred of the police)
-The government going to hell. (It isn’t his fault but he feels it is his duty to the country he still serves (PTSD/PTSS is a bitch) to right it and bring freedom back. He does everything in his power to destroy the current government.)
8. What one major thing does your character want to accomplish in his life to come?
A new government and then disappear and relax.
9. How does your character want to live out his older years?
Snake wants a family though he has given up on it currently because of his situation. Snake would like to have a big ranch house in the Black Hills where he grew up or out in the Badlands.

Yes.
11. Your character has an award someone gave him sitting on a shelf. What is it for, and what are the circumstances under which he received it?
He threw out all his military medals (Two Purple Hearts, Four Congressional Medals of Honor, An Air force Cross, Presidential Unit Citation, Small Arms Marksman Ribbon, Military Training Instructor Ribbon, Outstanding Airman of the Year Ribbon, Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, A Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, National Defense Service Medal, Three Prisoner of War Medals and a Russian Campaign Medal.)
If Snake were to have something I think it would be for High School Basketball.
o Is he proud of it or embarrassed by it? Snake is very proud of all of his accomplishments, even the military ones despite thinking he was on the wrong side of the war.
o Does he feel that he deserved it? Yes.
12. Has your character ever been arrested? For what? Did he deserve it? Does he feel that he deserved it?
All I have to say is 27 moral crimes, 300+ felonies in a police state… what do you think? He probably deserves it for breaking the law, even if the laws are crazy. Snake never believes he deserves to be in jail.

Just about everyone he meets

Rarely
24. What method of transportation does your character use? If he drives a car, for example, what kind of car does he drive?
Snake is vehicle crazy. He likes them all…. For flying a CV-22 Osprey, for motorcycles a Harley Soft tail and for cars... either an old firebird or a stolen military humvee with the 60 cal in the back.
25. Someone tries to rob your character on the street. What does he do? What is he carrying that the robbers might want? Is it a random incident or was he targeted?
Shoots them. Guns they are a rarity, his leather coat, his boots? I would say random because no one would purposefully go out to steal from someone with his reputation.

They are all dead

He hides away and drinks
o Pick your character's favorite birthday and write it up in narrative form.
Favorite birthday... hmmm? Got to be my twenty first. Got my stomach tattoo, Taylor bought me that brown jacket… yeah that beat up old ratty ass jacket I still wear. Sophia took me out to get wasted for the first time in the bars legally. It was the best I can remember.
o Pick your character's least favorite birthday and write it up in narrative form.
The morning of my ninth birthday Grandpa Plissken died for no reason. Still made me go to my damned party and I just wanted to be left the fuck alone.
