(no subject)
Registered for second year today. They wanted to treat me like an international student, because I'm an Australian citizen. That would've meant that I had to go get a clearance form from somewhere and go back to regoster tomorrow. Hell no. So I waved my ID (South African ID, mind) and them and told them to go fuck themselves (not in quite so many words though). To cut a short story shorter they let me register without the concession form.
Spent the rest of the day wondering around with Stephen, and when we could hi-jack him from the completely useless orientation crap, Jason. Made for a good day over all. It reminded me how organised my department is. Most people just get there registration forms, I got those and a whole pile of largely useful stuff: text bookl list, some chem info and my timetable. Most people have to work that out for themselves but my wonderful department did it for me. My Monday is rather layed back: start at 9, two lectures and then chem prac from 2 to 5. Chem prac are cool. I also get Friday aftrnoons off. The rest of my days are hell though.
Anyway, that's an update on my life at the moment, hope you're all having/had wonderful evenings.
