that was the week that was
Nothing much really. Got cross with J for gettin irritated because i couldn't recognise a matrix reloaded character from the reference 'the french' guy repeated about six times. Nothing serious in that tho. Sometimes I feel I'm going off J as a potential romantic object...then I slide back. More in lust that any kind of parody of love tho. I think....
Other than that work was sticky, hot and sweltering. Sometimes hot enough to make you feel slightly ill. Everyone was wilting.
Met Feather and viola in 'don on friday after a trip to this lingerie shop for us larger in front ladies. Bought a flesh coloured bra(20 quid) and a pink strappy top with built in bra wiht butterflies on (30 quid). Also bought a henna kit for fun and some butterfly transfers. I'm a bit spendy at the mo. LOL
saturday night saw me on a trip south belatedly followin the same vague direction my parents overnight stay/holiday that they made this week without me. To clarify this is the order of events.
This week my parents went away on an overnight stay southwards, collectin my sis on the way. This originally included me till I realised about being on hols this week rather than last week.
This weekend, I went southwards in a similar direction to my parents. This was to go to paintmixer's parent's house for a birthday bbq on saturday night. BBQ was lovely, with a gang comprised of some of our rotaract club's members (me, planecrasher, lil one, waitresses and hr, plus paintmixer's housemate) and some of her old rotaract club. Us lot who'd had a way to come stayed overnight and got up late the next day. We lazed for the morning and went ot a pub on a river for lunch, then lazed some more in the arvo. We'd meant to visit this stately home but it closed too early by the time we were motivated enough to go. LOL
I have to say it was a really nice trip. But... sometimes it's depressin to be around waitresses and hr because they're so happy wiht each other. I wish I could have that at least once, even if not for a long relationship. Altho I'd have to believe it was to get into it. I can't do stuff half arsed. If I dont' htink I'm interested or THAT interested it's just no good.
