scrambled to change the setting because of the rain....unprepared for fighting...in the Naga costume and indoors

I assure you. The Stormdancers were more than ready to fight you outdoors. ;-)

We were almost outside and there hadn't been a parting shot at Rowan yet - I remember Locke thinking, "Wow, that's odd."

Then Alex almost failed to keep me from being run down by an angry cat ;)

Awesome work this weekend!

At least Alex was ready with the body check, or I would have run someone down to get at her... it would have ended in flames for Rowan, but at least she would have tried.

:)

Got that parting "shot" into Rowan! Yes!

*flaps hands and runs in circles with the inability to articulate just how angry the Cat was, and just how AWESOME the parting shot was*

*falls down*

For those of us who had to cut out before the final scenes, what the heck happened between you two? I'm told there was a very loud sound from Rowan that could be heard outside.

How many gypsies does it take to hold down a furious Cat? At least one... rowan_syngwyn May 16 2011, 18:47:02 UTC
Well....

Rowan has an issue with the Naga in general, and this one in particular, because of the Naga's connection with Chance. The last time the two of them met, quentarielf spent a portion of her time telling Rowan that Chance was more Naga than Bayastri, and that she was no longer Rowan's sister, etc.. Rowan left that module shaking and in tears, and nearly tore Roderick in half when he tried to talk to her about it.

So, Rowan spent the ending of the module in the back of the mod building shaking all over, snarling and spitting, and leaning a good portion of her body weight into Alex's solar plexus to see if she could get him to step aside. They bind the Naga, everyone starts to leave, Rowan gets one good look at the Naga, the Naga gets one good look at Rowan...

I honestly didn't "lock" onto Rowan until the final encounter, maybe because of the PCs making sure you didn't get face-to-face with the Naga until then.

Rowan was fortunate enough to lock gazes with me, and then I couldn't help but get the dig in.
