Madrigal Highlights

A little post-Madrigal pre-PEL summary:

This weekend was a very "solid" weekend for me. Highlights in reverse order...

- The Naga / Awaken the Coatl fight. When staff learned that our weekend had to wrap up a bit earlier than usual at request of the camp, Torrin and I suddenly found that our 20-personish morning mod was going to be the final fight for the event for the entire town. We also scrambled to change the setting because of the rain. And I was totally mentally unprepared for fighting %25 of town at a time in the Naga costume and indoors; thanks to the PCs for rolling with my calls and not vocalizing every resist/avoid/parry that I should have. Got that parting "shot" into Rowan! Yes!

- Chambers of the Heart. I could not resist volunteering to be a part of this awesome RP mod of Melissa's; it was an injection of awesome that gave me an emotional boost, a kind of "reward" for the work I put into staffing when I can experience PCs really get into their roles. Quickest costume changes EVER. Thanks to Dyan (Rosie) and Mikkah, cupcakes and drinks made an appearance in Joy. I hadn't intended to break down into sobs in one of my roles (which included cradling blood-soaked children's items), but I did. Kath is an utterly nasty character and great nemesis for Grum's Company, and I love Tim for it.

- White Spring (or how I manage to shape-change to Dave). The PCs adjusted to the fact that I was not the usual staff member playing the White Spring spirit, which I was a little worried about. Loved the moment when all the poison ivy at the White Spring discussions were put to an end when the Council was called and I began drifting towards the woods, PI or no!

- Tiny RP moments as Murien with PCs. Including writing up a Gala invitation to the McFadens and putting a note "Without the A" next to the clan name as they spelled it for me.
