Just as I may,

This will most certainly become my lyrics and poems Archive, as it was years ago. Things are a lot different, but the intent is still the same. Thank you and Enjoy! Feedback and points of contention welcome!

"You had me run out to buy this massive pedistal.
It was this beautiful heap of trash, it really was.
Like aweful images; trajic, but true.
I held you higher now before I knew.

Well then I saw your shadow.
You were up reaching just as high.
Only a few inches off of
what most consider wise.

It was perhaps a tired rub of the eye.
a tired foot, and
now there's a dotted line.
A space you say you draw near,
but this isn't coloring my dear.

March 12 I held it holding true
until I saw the pigments under you
Now you apologize and flail, as you fail.
When I reiterate what thoughts were fond, child
that now are gone... filed.
because you weren't
there like you said all the while."
