RL has been rather exciting these last few weeks. My husband and I just returned from our first ever cruise, and the first REAL vacation that we have taken together since our honeymoon (almost 3 years ago)! We went through Carnival and traveled to the West Carribean hitting Costa Maya, Mexico, Grand Cayman and Jamaica! It was, of course, a blast and we got to enjoy warm weather and plenty of sunshine. I still have a red shoulder, I swear I have never gotten so badly sunburned that it wouldn't just peel away after a few days. Geesh!

And, in case going on a cruise wasn't exciting enough, two days before we left, my husband found out that he had been promoted and that as soon as we got back, we should start packing to move back to COLORADO!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! **flailing muppet arms**

So here I am at home trying to pack and of course not getting much of anything done. I did manage to sort through the frighteningly large pile of comics that had been piled on the downstairs table, but it didn't really accomplish all that much when you look at how messy the table was underneath. :) hee

However.....underneath I found all of my art stuff and found a few random pieces that I felt inspired to share.

This is a cut-paper project that I did the summer I was living in DC, and I had sorta forgotten it. It's Lilo & Stitch, I freaking adore that movie and it always makes me think of Hawaii and warm summery weather. It's so hard to display cut paper projects online, you can't really get across the whole 3D/2D aspect of it. Is that even 3D I mean I can hold it and it has layers, but it's still viewed as flat....hmmm? Let's just think of it as a bas relief. :)

On a totally random note, anyone ELSE miss the new West Wing the other day!?? Luckily I was able to find a clip of my new favorite Josh/Donna scene online, and also a new fav song! :)
