Yes, I'm alive, and things are going fairly well.
My computer is still not fixed, which presents several problems. Such as: all my phone numbers were stored on my laptop and: my resume was saved on my laptop, which makes the job-searching thing a bit tricky.
Bob is doing ok. He may be able to move out soon (although this created a lot of drama), is doing OK health-wise, and is as wonderful as ever :-D
I got a call from my grandmother early this week: apparently I am going to Florida for the last half of my spring break. This is not entirely a lucky break, since my mom and I are primarily going to help my grandmother deal with putting my grandfather's things in order (she hasn't been to their summer house since he died). It should be warm though, and it is always good to spend time with my grandmother.
Meanwhile, I am keeping busy ("Write a 8-12 page paper on you socialization and awareness of gender and race issues. Oh, and if you want to have me look over it, write it by tomorrow, which is my deadline for drafts." WHAT?!?!)
I have also discovered the Poor College Student's Pasta Recipe: take pasta noodles. Cook to desired softness. Drain. Add butter and Adobo seasoning. Serve. Goes well with iced tea from an iced tea mix.
Note: it is not necessary to use real butter. Margarine will suffice.
Hey, at least I don't do what my roommate does: make a "pasta sauce" out of caesar salad dressing and olive oil. Ergh.
