Apologies to peoples for my dropping off the earth thing: several things have happened recently, including computer death.
My dad's working on the computer resurrection, but other things kinda suck.
Bob has some fairly serious health issues, but is probably going to be OK
My grandfather died of heart disease, after battling Parkinson's disease for many, many years. My grandmother, like the rest of us, is torn between being happy that his suffering is over and feeling that he left too soon. My mom is also very unhappy. My uncle's eulogy was beautiful, I will never forget it as long as I live.
Good News:
Bob and I are doing well. He always cheers me up :)
School's going well. Made the Dean's List.
Figured out where to live next year, I'll get my own room and pay less for the quad i live in now
Bob turned 21 last weekend. Other things also looking hopeful for him.
Not in pain every two months (yay!)
Doing okay social-wise. Hey, its Madison.
Figured out how to make good pasta sauce with cheap, easy-to-get ingredients.
My dad may be able to fix my computer.
