The joke is not funny
Dear LJ, u have become my #1 choice to rant. I have a coworker who keep saying to me loudly "You are getting Married!!" Everytime she said it, I get irritated and answered "I'm not marrying & I don't plan to." Then she answered "I'm joking la." Which part of it is joking? I don't take jokes well especially regarding marital status. You don't joke with old ladies about funerals & it's rude to joke about marriage to singles. Not then I'm feeling the stress of being single. It's just that I wished some people understands that being single doesn't mean I'm unhappy or desperate. *retreats to cave*.
