Apparently, I've managed to be a good, educational influence on at least one teenager. At fencing practice last night, Alex (who's 16, yet somehow still human) came up to me and asked if I'd seen Zombieland yet. I have not (though I apparently need to). The childling then tells me that the opening sequence made him think of me. There is a fireman running from a zombie that is on fire, and his first thought was along the lines of, "Ha! I know better than that! Phaedra already taught me to never set zombies on fire! And that's exactly why!" This made my night. ^_^
When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll know that I had a hand in saving at least one awesome person's life. Go me.
