Pixie Hollow was all very well. Tinker Bell would always be the first to agree there. But as much as she loved tinkering, there was only so much excitement she could get out of it, and excitement was one thing she was always on the look-out for. She always looked back on her two trips to the Main Land very fondly, and while it had been scary at the time, her adventure to the north when she had broken the Moonstone was one of the best times of her life.
The first time she met Peter Pan, she had thought he was some kind of strange bird, and it wasn’t until she inspected him closer that she realised he was a boy. She hadn’t thought that there were any humans anywhere in Neverland; she’d certainly never come across any before, and she wondered where he got the pixie dust to make him fly. She got another surprise when he understood what she was saying without her having to mime anything. Maybe that was what happened when humans came to Neverland instead of the other way around.
The second time, Peter took her to see the mermaid lagoon. She giggled as she listened to the girls ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ over the stories he told them. The third time, he introduced her to the Chief of the Red Men and his daughter, Tiger Lily. She was there when the other Lost Boys began appearing and then, of course, there was the time he cut off Hook’s hand and fed it to the crocodile.
Pixie Hollow would always be Tinker Bell’s home, of course, but adventures with Peter Pan were not something she’d be passing up for a very long time.
