Human beings. Funny little creatures. They all think they’re invincible, but they’ve got no idea how breakable they really are. They meet him and it’s like all their Christmases have come at once: time and space at their disposal, anywhere, anywhen. And he, stupidly, lets them believe it. He puts on a grin, and throws some switches and pulls some levers, and takes them any place they want to go. It always ends the same way, with them leaving, or dying, or otherwise gone, but he never learns. He just keeps trampling on the already shattered pieces of his hearts

Genre: Angst
Characters/Pairing: Eleven, Amy.
Summary: The Doctor's thoughts as he walks away from Amy (set after The God Complex)
Prompt: "Backs" (for
tvrealm's Big Bang)
Warnings: none
Pulling out of that hug and turning his back on Amy had to rank as one of the hardest things the Doctor had ever done. He knew it was for her own good. He wanted her and Rory to continue travelling with him as much as they did, but it wasn’t worth the risk. He wasn’t sure that Amy would realise this, but he knew he had put her in danger one too many times. At least now, he could still pop in every now and then...
Of course, that didn’t stop his hearts from breaking as he walked away.
Title: Photographs and Memories

Rating: G
Genre: Family
Characters/Pairing: Amy/Rory, Melody.
Summary:In an alternate universe where the Pond-Williams family lives happily ever after, and Melody has a perfectly normal childhood, Rory makes sure he documents his daughter's life.
Prompt: "Double Exposure" (for
tvrealm's Big Bang) and
100_women 053 "Daughter"
Warnings: none
Afterwards, when everything had settled down again, when the Doctor hadn’t died at Monument Valley and when they had their baby girl safely back in their arms, the first thing Rory did was go out and buy a camera. They had nearly lost the chance to watch Melody grow up once, and now Rory was determined to preserve every moment.
He wasn’t the most masterful of photographers, as Amy pointed out to him on more than one occasion as he deleted blurry photos off the memory card or picked out what he considered the best ones to upload to Facebook. But artistry wasn’t really what Rory was going for, anyway.
Melody got older, cameras and computers were upgraded, and soon she was off taking her own photos: friends’ sleepovers, high school graduations, parties her parents would probably have preferred not know anything about...
Sometimes, when Melody disappeared off with the Doctor for a while, Amy and Rory would sit on their bed, an album of printed photos between them. They might have had memories from several different versions of realities inside their heads, but the pictures made this one all the more real. This was the one they most preferred.
