Madoka smiles brightly at Homura. She hopes that this party was okay. But, everyone had worked hard on making it successful. At least, she thinks that the party became much, much more wonderful with everyone's help. She couldn't have done it without them.

She claps her hands together when she blows out the candles.

"Happy birthday, Homura-chan!"

Seeing everything all planned just for her, Homura cannot help but to be a little overwhelmed in her emotions. Nothing in her past has ever really been like this and her heart beats excitedly.

If not for their other friends being here, she would hug Madoka just this instant. It would seem a bit strange, wouldn't it? When not everyone knows about them, and especially now in front of everyone at the center of their attention...

But instead she restrains her affections at least for the moment, smiling widely. "T-Thank you, Madoka, everyone!"

Quieter to Madoka she adds, "M-Madoka...you didn't need to do all this."

A headtilt. "Eh? B... But, it wasn't just me. It was Sayaka-chan, and Kyoko-san, and Mami-san, too..."

"That's true, but I never told them my birthday..." As far as she remembers anyway. It's pretty obvious that Madoka had to be at the heart of the matter.

But regardless, she smiles. "T-Thank you... I've never had a party like this before."

"Mm. Homura-chan didn't get to attend school very much before, right..? So, we thought you would really like something like this with your friends..." She smiles widely, happy that Homura is happy herself.

Homura's eyes glisten slightly in joy. "I'm glad to have friends like you here." It's true that Madoka is more than a friend, but at least she can sum them up like that.

Unable to resist any longer, she steps forward to hug Madoka, even if she intends it to be brief.

Madoka doesn't have time to hug her back before Homura separates from her. She pauses in surprise, but recovers quickly. "A... And... I'm happy, too... That we could do all of this for you."

"I hope everyone can enjoy it too though," Homura responds, smiling. She glances across the room to see everyone again and then turns back to Madoka. It's unusual to see their little apartment so full like this, but it's not in a bad way. "Maybe I can help everyone out in exchange too..."
