The perfect temperature for tea is two degrees hotter than just right.

Characters: Akiha Tohno, Kohaku, and The Queen
Date: Tea Time, 11/14
Summary: Akiha has invited the Queen over for tea and pleasant conversation
Warnings: Akiha's under the effect of Easy Listening music, so NONE.

In all of Akiha's years, there had never been anyone that could have been considered royalty attending her home back in Misaki City. The Tohno family was the influential one there, but still they never had such important guests before that were not part of the family. So, Akiha had metaphorically whipped her servants into a frenzy, making sure the mansion was scrubbed spotless the day before after her conversation with the Queen. She, herself, even joined in on the cleaning (okay, she really just spent most of the time rearranging things in the sitting room) before they all collapsed for rest that night.

Now she paced in the sitting room as she waited for the Queen to arrive. Hisui was outside the sitting room, in the hall, doing her very best statue impression as she waited in case she was needed or Kris decided she wanted to stick her nose in. She could smell the cookies Kohaku had baked in the air and knew her maid would choose their very best blend of tea to serve the Queen. After a few minutes of pacing, Akiha stopped at the window and looked out, sighing. The music in the air was soothing and helped her relax. This was just tea. Nothing would go wrong.
