"None from me," Fate said. As an Enforcer, she was used to all types of missions, so a simple recon mission into unknown territory wasn't really difficult for her to understand.

"None," Arge echoed Fate's response.

Though she wasn't quite military herself, the plan was simple and straightforward that even a normal ten year old could understand it.

Not that Ar was normal.

"I don't have anything to ask," Maria added, finishing up some last-minute checks on her phase gun before holstering it back onto the belt on her waist. "I'm good to go if everyone else is," she then said, glancing round the rest of the group for confirmation of that fact.

"By the way, Anna, Ahsoka..." She turned her attention to the two women she'd previously travelled with. "Remember that sample I had from the northern jungle? I've experimented with it and turned it into a second gun." Said weapon was currently being carried in the same makeshift bag she'd taken with her before. "Unfortunately, when I testfired it... well, defective is one way of describing it." An irritated frown crossed her features. "It's so ridiculous, it's gotta be seen to be believed. It's like someone out there's playing a bad joke on me."

"Actually, if you could demonstrate what happened with this gun, it'd be informative," Signum says, looking mildly worried. "I know at least a couple of people used this matter to construct houses..."

Signum's eager to press forward, but she wants to have a better idea of what she's getting into first (and whether Kyuubei's house is going to collapse on her).

"Yeah, seconded, Signum. I want to see precisely how they nerfed your weapon." Anna frowned. "The... spirit of Viet Nam," she sighed, "tried to wish for a rifle and it... didn't take, so we can compare notes."

"I wonder how those houses turned out, then," Maria said, having not actually seen the buildings in question yet ( ... )

Anna nods. "That's about what I expected," she said. "Viet Nam's rifle shot glitter."

"What I'd advise is to create the raw materials for weapons, not the weapons themselves, out of the earth here. Larry was a gunsmith back home and she's had better results doing that."

"Well, at least it's a useful signal flare," Signum says.

"Let's move out. Stick together for now, once we hit unknown areas, fan out at equal distances and keep each other in sight. Report anything out of the ordinary - compared to the rest of the gardens, at least - to myself or Enforcer Testarossa," she says, indicating Fate for those who hadn't been introduced to her yet. "We have a mental link to people back in the main area, so we'll be running control. Everybody got it? Good, let's move out."

"Hey, you could wait up for your safety measure you know."

Etna calmly walked into view, a small, round item in hand.

"I've got the Base Panel set up. Once I place this end someplace, eight of us can get back through it without trouble. I can only carry one, so we gotta decide where to place it carefully."

Slipping it into a pocket in her skirt, Etna grinned. "Time to investigate!"

"Interesting. Is that device safe?" Saber was just familiar enough with magic to distrust things that were impossible in her own world, but she put off worrying about it too much. She didn't particularly expect to have to make an emergency retreat, anyway.
