-Two new faces are wandering the gardens, going over their scrolls. This is not new, really. Nothing unusual here at all, in fact! Well, except for one of the girl's
more than unusual appearance. However, it's the other girl that those observing the Vine are going to find out about first. After a few pokes, her eyes practically light up.-
Oh wow! It actually works! It's like my old cellphone! But even better! Look, Nue, look!
"Cellphone"? -Girl #2 echoes the word, clearly unfamiliar with it. She doesn't hold onto that train of thought long, though, instead coming to stand behind her companion, peering over her shoulder and into the mirror of the Vine.- It's just a mirror. What are you getting so excited about?
It's like something from a shoujo fantasy manga! The classic stuff!
-Nue makes a face. She clearly has no idea what's being spoken of, but she doesn't bother to ask for an explanation. Instead, she says,- Sanae... That's great and all, but I don't see how it's supposed to help get me out of this place. -Guess who has two thumbs and already ran herself into the invisible wall up in the sky a few dozen times? This girl!-
-Sanae blinked a bit, getting a 'well duh' look on her face.- Nue, we can use these to get more information! Communication is important, you know. It's the way of things where I come from. Everyone owns a cell phone. Now let's see who can tell us anything that's not on these scrolls, okay?
-Nue huffs a little, but doesn't argue. She wants to say something like, "Unless that information is the location of the exit, I don't care," but she decides she'd rather not risk being scolded for her attitude.- All right, all right. -Then, she turns her attention back to the Vine, addressing it in a voice that's probably a little louder than necessary.- Hey! You heard her. If you know anything about this place, we want to hear it! -...So demanding.-
-Sanae gives a nervous laugh, waving an apology to the viewing audience.- S-sorry about her, folks! She's just frustrated, is all! Don't you know you catch more flies with honey than vinegar?
-She huffs again. Don't you speak for her, Sanae! She's only working with you because she might have a better chance of getting back to Gensokyo that way!- Aren't you? Anyone in their right mind would be frustrated about something like this! -Though she might be a bit more perturbed by this turn of events than some others, given that the idea of being trapped in one place against her will for an indefinite period of time is something uncomfortably familiar to her. This place has just been given a cheerier facade than the last prison.-
We'll be okay, Nue. Promise. Just try to not upset anyone here, okay? ...
-And thuse their conversation goes... in front of everyone...-
