[She doesn't really look fine, and certainly looks more than a 'bit' wet. Every bit of her is drenched, a fact made even worse by the fact that she was wearing a white blouse, which was now clinging to her upper body. She reaches up and actually wring water out of her hair, trying to dry it at least a little.]

She hasn't seen a storm of this magnitude in a very long time, and it was safe to say she'd been ill-prepared for this one. Without preamble, she sits down on the lobby floor, removes her jacket, and begins the (at this point, fruitless) task of wringing it out.]

There's nothing that makes girls around her age any easier to talk to, as her personal history has well proved, but the thought lingers that if things had been different, if they had lived on different worlds or even parts of the same, maybe they would have been classmates, or even friends. And seeing another girl so waterlogged like this, she wants to be able to help.]
It's really bad isn't it...? You don't live in the Apartments here do you?

Yeah, it's terrible. [A slight shake of her head, and water droplets fall to the floor.] No, I don't live here, but it looks like it's the only place that held up. Er, sorry for barging in like this.

[She pauses, nervously, before adding a little more.]
I don't know if it'll do much good, but...we have a drying machine upstairs if you would like to use it. [It doesn't get used much - such things are luxuries that aren't necessary on the usual sunny days - but in cases like this, it's good to have around.]
