I agree to your condition. We will maintain ethical boundaries. I have no wish to experiment on people or on the living things here, merely to study them. I am not like the scientists of my world that I mentioned previously.

I don't know... it's kind of hard to tell, because sometimes there's people who come from somewhere that sounds familiar, but then there's a few totally off details. Like magic or something.

[These two are the MOST fun at parties, I don't doubt it.] Ah, similar worlds that have certain differences. [She is particularly pleased to hear this, considering what Tifa said about her death.] It makes sense. If there are such vastly different worlds, why not very similar ones as well?

Magic does not exist in your world? In mine, we have something that is known as magic, but some, myself included, believe it is simply a power science has not yet explained.

Wellll... [An actual expression change! In that her gaze flickers a bit, evasively.] I'll just say that I don't think I've really seen any evidence of magic, as such. Just people waving their arms and looking silly, mostly.

Yeah, I've seen plenty of it here, obviously. It's pretty interesting. I almost wish we had some of that back home. Though I guess it could also make things a lot more complicated.

Yes, it would be hard to ignore the evidence of an unknown power in this place.

I suppose magic does bring complications, but it is hard for me to judge, as I have never lived in a place without such a force.

The uses of magic are many in my world. There is a substance there known as Mako which, when crystallized, forms something known as materia. Materia holds the wisdom of the Ancients. Using it, one can manipulate the natural world in a variety of ways, depending on what kind of materia it is.

Materia do vary, but yes, they can be very powerful, and also very dangerous in the wrong hands.
