(no subject)
It's been busy this last week or so and then kinda lazy in some ways. The 22nd I took my sis out for her 21st B-day. We had a lot of fun! But we couldn't hardly even get that woman tipsy! She was smart and ate before we went out and I gave her water to go along with her booze (and ordered snacks for us) and yet... No drunk! I mean, I wasn't going to let her get really yucky drunk, but I at least wanted her to get tipsy!
Afterward we went to Safeway and bought a bunch of bad for you chocolate and cake and cookies and took it to her house. We sat around with my other sister (who shall be going out in a couple of years!! That'll be fun, all three of us) and ate and watched the Venture Brothers on TV.
Lessee... I can't remember what happened Thursday, lol. Friday the 24th was Aaron's B-day party and it was great. Jim hung up streamers and balloons and we got it all ready for him. He really loved it this year; he knew what was going on and was all excited. We have a lot of pictures, so I'll have to post from home after I upload them.
It took me almost all four days off to recover from working 5 in a row. I took naps a lot.
Saturday I went and saw Orphan with my Ally-sis, her friend, and my uncle. It was so... disturbing. I thought it was pretty darn well made, but really, really disturbing. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares.
I worked three days. One of them was awful. I was PMSing and it was one thing after another and I just wanted to find a quiet corner and cry a little bit.
I had four days off again. Wednesday I got my hair done and went shopping a little for more summer clothing since it's been so dang hot. Jim took Aaron down to the beach where my grandparents were Tuesday and came back Wednesday evening. I wanted to go, but I couldn't see calling in. I don't like to do that unless I am really sick and certainly not to go gallavanting off to the beach. Alas.
I've been watching a lot of movies on DVD. I finally saw P.S. I Love You and thought it was a really good movie! For whatever reason I really like Harry Connick Jr. in stuff.
I started writing on my Naruto fanfic again and got two chapters out. That felt good. Dunno what really pushed me to do it, but I did it!
Um... Gosh, otherwise, I've just been hanging out with Aaron. Haven't seen Jim much because he's been working and doing homework. These next days off we have off all together and so I probably won't be on here again for almost a week, lol. I feel like I haven't really seen him in two weeks and I'm going to take advantage of these next days off. I work only one more and then I'll be off.
I need to get caught up on my friends list and see what you all have been up to.
Oh, and in there, of course, were three lovely days of HORRID female issues. I hate my time of the month. I was unusually grumpy and bloated and tired and depressed. It is now thankfully passing as it always does and all is right with the world again.
