2nd week of my last semester of school and it's already crazy....
Here are the bullet points of my life since I've started my last semester of college:
-I'm taking environmental science and I hate it. First of all, I'm not a nature girl. I'm the definition of a G.R.I.T.S. (Girl Raised In The South). So that being said, me and nature don't really mesh well. *lol* On the first day when our professor asked us why we were taking the class. I politely told her that I'm taking it just to graduate in May and the only traumatic experience I've had with nature is in "Bambi" when his mother dies. (which has nothing to do with environmental science, I just didn't have anything else to say. *lol*)
-I'm in love with my African dance class. Although, I can barely move my body after I'm done, it's the best workout of my life. I'm sore in places I didn't even know existed.
-I'm officially broke b/c of UPTA's. Over Christmas break, I spent around $600 dollars on reproducing of headshots, postcards, business cards, a plane ticket to Memphis, photocopying my resume' and sending everything in. I really hope this will pay off. Please God, give me a national tour.
-I got called back for character of Silvia for "Two Gentleman of Verona" We had callbacks last night. I ended up getting the understudy of Silvia and the ensemble. I feel pretty good about it since he only cast 11 people in the ensemble and all the ladies who got called back for Silvia gave a FIERCE audition!! I was blown away with how well prepared we all were.
-Auditions for Bat Boy are Thursday at 10pm. I'm excited about being the stage manager, but it's going to kill me.
