Hi Angel Steps!
I am horrible at finishing fan fiction. I mean, horrible. It is terrible and I hate myself (a little bit) for it. But, this year I partipated in NaNoWriMo and FINISHED a 55, 000 word novel. Apparently stress and peer pressure works for me. I had suspected that it would, considering I always turn in my school assignments on time and everything.
So, I am thinking of participating in Castiel Dean Big Bang. I am going to start writing it very soon and if I feel confident with how far I've gotten by April 1st, I will officially sign up.
However, I am suffering from severe technical difficulties.
So, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me figure it out?
A beta or just someone willing to talk would be wonderful.
(If so, continue reading, if not, turn back now)-
Grounded
Comedy/Supernatural/Romance
In a universe where Lucifer never fell, never rebelled against God, Lucifer does rebel against Michael. A sibling rivalry of cosmic civil war rages through the centuries, but God never gets rebuked by neither Michael nor Lucifer, and, therefore, does not take sides in this war.
However, He eventually gets tired of Michael and Lucy’s constant fighting, and gives them the reasonable punishment that a father could, he GROUNDS them.
Anna, a fallen angel, is asked by the jerk angel Gabriel if she would be willing to sire fallen angels. She agrees, seeing this as a way to absolve herself from her choice of falling.
Michael and Lucifer are sent to earth and are born to their sister. End of story, right?
…Nope. Raphael takes up Michael’s post and Uriel takes Lucifer’s. So they get grounded as well. When it becomes obvious to the Father that his daughter has his hands full with the fighting sons, He decides to send Gabriel as a peace keeper, you know, for the LOLz. As it turns out, and God is honestly not surprised, though He is quite amused, that Gabriel is one hell of a sucky peace keeper.
Thus, God sends down one of His youngest, but most loyal and loving, Angels: Castiel.
God did not stripe His children of their grace, just buried it deep within their human souls.
However, Castiel, the one who in his human life clearly still felt the most connected to his Father, the one who most clung to his beliefs, begins to have his soul stirred. His angelic power begin to slip out, his Grace begins to escape and melds with his human soul. What is this caused by? A human boy a bit older than him named Dean Winchester.
Dean Winchester, a junior or senior, has recently been left, along with his brother, with Bobby Singer, who was forced into retirement when he became paralyzed from the waist down. Dean hates this, but is too obedient to argue (much) against his father's decision.
However, the sibling rivalry between Mikey and Lucy is put on the backburner, because at first Cas is worried about all of his “changes” (normal and divine) and his strange emotions concerning Dean which becomes overshadowed by the demons who become attracted to the town.
Why are there still demons? The Darkness, which in our universe contaminated Lucifer’s grace, was not created by God, not created by the Devil, but exists still the same. Lillith, the first demon, still becomes evil, falling from humanity as Lucifer fell from Heaven, becoming the Queen of the Demons, tempting Eve and Adam into eating the apple.
