I got a shitload of work done today and am feeling optimistic and proud, so I figured it's the perfect time for a *quick* update (note: I have class in less than ten minutes). I *might* see the new Harry Potter film this weekend. I'd really like to take my sister Taylor to see it, since she's one of the biggest Harry Potter fans I know. Personally, I can't focus my attention on those kind of books for longer than five minutes. It's a miracle I manage to get through the chapters in my methodology books. Well, I usually skim anyway.
I got one of my huge projects (which is actually a packet) back today in SED 402. I got a 100 on it. I'd kind of like to know why, because there were sections of it that I didn't put much effort into, but a 100's not something to argue about. So much for that. :-)
I've been sad for the past few days but increasingly better. A girl I knew in high school died on Sunday morning. She suffered inner brain trauma for twelve days, and if she hadn't died she would have been in a coma for the rest of her life. I think that in the end, her family did the right thing. It's still hard to deal with, though. I'm going to her funeral on Saturday morning, mostly in order to support her family. It would've been nice to see her more recently. :-(...R.I.P. Melissa A. Ranson-Woodrow, age 20, who died November 13, 2005.
More updates later...
