Fresh Olives

taste terrible. I'm sure you have to cook them some way before you eat them. I bought some from Mainesource because I was curious.

I'm going to try to grow them.

Heh! I was reading a book where someone said something like, only an Italian would know that you cannot pluck an olive off a tree and eat it. Olives are one of those things which are completely inedible until you process the hell out of it and pickle it for years. Kinda like pigs feet.

I have a bit of a story. A person told me that in another life I was an Italian man who owned an olive farm and helped my village survive WWII horribleness. I wish I had him channeled before I bit into that olive!

I think they're fermented. In the sauerkraut way, not the alcohol way.
